At Korrie we are totally committed to ensuring our staff receive the best possible training in order to deliver the highest of standards for our customers.
Emphasis continues to be placed on the attraction and development of the right people for our crucial technician roles since our reputation rests heavily on the interaction they have with customers in their homes and workplaces.
The training requirements for each individual are incorporated within a master training plan. In this way the individual's development and the strategic aims of the company as a whole are co-ordinated and training is targeted effectively and carried out in a structured manner.
We fully recognise our responsibility for fostering young talent and preserving skills, and consequently we are strong advocates of apprenticeship schemes. It is a source of great pleasure and encouragement to watch the newcomers who emerge each year from their training into full time roles and the next stages of their career development with Korrie.
Korrie works with local schools to provide and encourage school leavers to contact us directly so we can provide work experiance.
This gives a valuable insight for the student into the industry and life in the trade. It also gives a chance for Korrie to gauge the employee before they enter into a four year modern apprenticeship. In the past, Korrie have found this to be a very successful method of obtaining future talent.
